Two Views of Gig Harbor Taken on the Same Winter Day
Taken on December 26, 2009 – Gig Harbor at about 8:30 am and again at 2:30 pm.
Climate records at Weather Underground show average temperatures of 41 degrees for a high and 31 degrees for a low for this day in Gig Harbor, Washington.
By afternoon, people were kayaking, sailing and boating on the harbor waters. Joggers, walkers, families and shoppers were on the sidewalks throughout the Historic District.
Mount Rainer can be is in the background. The distant homes on the far right is part of the city of Tacoma. Visible are several boats under power, a sailboat with sails up and a kayaker.
