Risk of stroke lowered by over 50 percent in study
Tomatoes and tomato based products are a good source of lycopene which is found to reduce risk of stroke and ischemic stroke in men according to a study published in Neurology.
The study consisted of over 1,000 men between the ages of 46 and 65 year-old men over a period of approximately 12 years.
