Missing the Gig Harbor Christmas Boat Parade

When someone offers to cook you a great home made dinner, do you say “I’d rather go the to Gig Harbor Christmas boat parade at the waterfront.”?  The boat parade is officially titled the “Gig Harbor Yacht Club Lighted Boat Parade” and sponsored by, well, you can guess and was held on Saturday the 12th at 5:00 pm.

On Thursday night, in 20 degree weather, I took several night photos.  Big mistake, not wearing gloves.  The metal tripod was litterly freezing.  After 45 minutes, my fingers couldn’t feel the buttons on the camera and I called it a night.  But I did get photographs of a marina boats and shoreline homes displaying the Christmas Spirit.

I missed the parade but harmony reigns at home and I had a great dinner.
